The history and the impact

Abbie Stout founded Cedar & Sage in April of 2020, just a month after the pandemic began, taking her 10-year dream and running with it.

Abbie found the opportunity to pivot from running a luxury boutique inn at the Edwards House to running a sustainable Fort Collins home goods shop located within the hotel, perfect for guests who might have forgotten toiletries or wanted to pamper themselves while on vacation. Cedar & Sage helped keep the Edwards House Team employed during the unstable time for the tourism industry.

After joining the Fort Collins Marketplace later that fall, she was able to take advantage of the rise in online shopping.

And they’re still going! Cedar & Sage Mercantile delivers your Fort Collins home goods to your door within a five-mile radius of  ZIP code 80521, offers free curbside pickup, or will ship your products, making it easier than ever to go eco-friendly!
